How Our Custom Drapery Process Works
- Free estimate: Schedule an in-home visit by phone, text, or online.
- Design and fabric: We bring fabric samples and help you choose a heading style, such as ripple-fold or pinch-pleat, plus lining and fullness.
- Measuring: We measure wall and ceiling heights, window widths, and stack space so panels hang and clear correctly.
- Installation: We install rods or ceiling tracks, hang and dress each panel, and check that everything glides smoothly.
How Much Does Custom Drapery Cost?
Custom drapery pricing depends on the size of the window and the choices you make for fabric and hardware. Key factors include:
- Width and height: wider and taller windows need more fabric.
- Fabric and fullness: heavier fabrics and fuller panels cost more.
- Lining: privacy, blackout, and thermal linings add cost.
- Hardware: decorative rods, ceiling tracks, and motorized tracks are priced differently.
We measure first and then provide a written quote for fabric, hardware, and installation. Request a free estimate.

Custom Drapery FAQs
What is the difference between ripple-fold and pinch-pleat drapery?
Ripple-fold drapery hangs in soft, even waves on a track and has a modern look. Pinch-pleat drapery is gathered into tailored pleats and suits more traditional rooms.
Do you install ceiling-mounted curtain tracks?
Yes. Ceiling tracks are ideal for floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors. See our curtain track installation service.
Can drapery block out light?
Yes. A blackout lining makes drapery a strong choice for bedrooms and media rooms.
Can you motorize drapery?
Yes. Motorized tracks open and close drapery with a remote, an app, or your voice.
Can drapery be layered with other window treatments?
Yes. Many homeowners pair drapery with solar or blackout shades for both light control and a softer look.
